This is the last post from John 9, and one of the most difficult verse I have come across in the bible .. but nevertheless nothing's too difficult for the lord and on that note let's start ā˜ƒļø

Today we will be drawing parallels between what happened between the blind man and the Pharisees in John 9 to what happened in the garden of Eden and the apple šŸŽ

Verses (John )

For judgement I came into this world, that those who do not see may see, and those WHO SEE may become blind - John 9:38

What a strange verse ? The lord came to heal the blind and blind the ones who see 😲

Verses (Genesis )

But the serpent said to the woman, you will not surely die, for God knows that when you eat of the tree, YOUR EYES WILL BE OPENED, and you will be LIKE GOD, know good and evil. Genesis 3:4

Even before I say a word, I'm sure you can connect the dots between Eden and what was happening to the Pharisees. I was taken aback when I read that Jesus said " FOR JUDGEMENT I CAME INTO THIS WORLD....it's crucial to understand at this juncture that this judgement is not to condemn .. for in the gospel of John itself Jesus said twice .. that he did not come to JUDGE. But then what is John 9:38 about ? Which judgement is he talking about ?

In the Garden of Eden , something happened to human mind , rather we see for the first time in the history of time a desire to have WISDOM, gen 3:6 says "so the woman saw that the tree was good, and was desired to make one WISE".

Right in that garden , we see the desire of mankind to have wisdom , but here's the truth , dependency on wisdom of God is so much better than your individual quest for wisdom ... individual quest for wisdom leads to FALL, but a dependency on GODLY WISDOM makes you like a carefree sheep šŸ‘... grazing in the garden of Eden .. trusting that God will show up in the cool of the day to pat your little head šŸ˜†and tell you .. come we have lots to do .. TOGETHER

Satan told the Edeners half truth , he told them if they eat of the tree they will begin to SEE..pretty much like the Pharisees in John 9 ... who were convinced they could SEE. Looks like the apple effect was carried forward to the Pharisees.

But Satan didn't tell them the real deal .... and that is ....wisdom devoid of God .. blinds us towards GOD...

let's repeat that .....

Wisdom devoid of God , blinds us towards GOD ......

And for such people Jesus said in John 9 " for judgement I came into this world " so that those who see may become blind. Rather those who THINK they can see , are really in God's dictionary BLIND.

What's the difference between a blind man and the one who sees.

Blind men are DEPENDENT .. normal men are INDEPENDENT

The blindness I talk about is not a spiritual one , as we know that the blind beggar became a preacher 🐼and knew the things of spirit much more that the Pharisees. But the blindness I talk about is a state of dependency ... a dependency on GOD...

If we remain dependent on GOD , and seek Godly wisdom not individual Wisdom, we can turn the apple effect šŸŽupside down , what happened in the garden , the evil sight that we received ... a sight that seeks carnal wisdom .. can be reversed ..

Sadly for the Pharisees, apple effect remained and so did their GUILT ..

Let me end with the last verse of this chapter

"If you were blind, you would have NO GUILT, but now that you say WE SEE.... YOUR GUILT REMAINS." John 9:41

Stay blessed šŸ’•
